Motivation Monday- New day!

We are given each day once. We have productive days, lazy days and days that did not go well. Regardless of the outcome, we have to move on. We can't go back. We can't hit reset, delete or backspace.  It's important to remember that with each day we can refresh and start over. Different from the last, filled with opportunities and just as important, this is a new day. What makes you strong in life, not only in business, is not your ability to endure getting knocked down, but your willingness to stand back up.You must put your struggles, anxiety and loss to bed with you each night. It will not stop you or hold you back when you wake the next day. It will fuel your fire, make your stronger and launch you forward. It has to! If you don't let it produce results it will only hold you back. Let those days be a lesson to you to move forward.

There are so many days where giving up is so much easier. We will not be letting the doubts and pains of the previous day get the best of us. It is your choice to rise about and say " TODAY IS NOT YESTERDAY! I CAN DO THIS!"

Write down your new goals for the day. Each morning with your coffee or even in the shower set your goal.
Today I will book 1 party and reach out to 2 new people
Construct a plan
I will call _____ & _____ about booking and share my business with 2 people at lunch today.

This is all up to you. Each day is a new chance to be great. To learn something and go for your goals. If you want it, you are going to have to; fight, fall down, fight again and never stop.

It's here, a new day! Lucky you, you've been given another chance to make things happen!  The start of a new week and the possibilities are endless. Make a goal, set a plan and get to work. If there's no plan, your goals are just wishes. This is your chance to shine! Go get it!

Comment with your goals! We are stronger together than we are alone!

MEET KEEP!

From the believers who brought you STELLA & DOT comes the next generation of FLEXIBLE ENTREPRENEURSHIP for women. To expand the impact of our mission, we married our love of life with our LOVE OF JEWELRY. This is how KEEP was born - a collection of ONE-OF-A-KIND, interchangeable Keepers and Keys. Each one is a wearable touchstone, an instant reminder of the big things, the small things, and all the things that matter.

Throw back Thursday

Let's throw back to August when a friend posted this photo on her wall and I was immediately drawn to the bright color, versatility and personalization. Without hesitation I inquired about joining this new company called KEEP Collective which was a new sister brand to Stella & Dot. Days later I received
an email saying "You're a KEEPER"! I was added to a group on Facebook with less than 50 other women eagerly waiting for the day to order our kits, but not wasting a moment of time to tell everyone we knew about this amazing opportunity!

Yes 50 other girls! It's amazing how quickly Keep has grown to a powerhouse of paychecks and factory of happiness for about 3,000 designers in under 7 months! In August, I took a chance and no more than half a year later I  have a team of over 130 women across the country,  a founding star necklace, a ticket for hoopla and a new wealth of friendship and income. When I think about where I was 7 months ago.

My first KEEPER!
Home with 3 kids, miserable in my own business, unmotivated and lonely. I felt underutilized. A bunch of business knowledge and energy and no way to share it. You don't get much recognition for packing lunch and folding laundry and this journey has challenged me and made me a better ME! What a difference a few months makes! Your story is unique we have jewelry to tell that story to the world, but your story with KEEP as a designer can be amazing and live changing. It's up to you to write it. My story says that I joined in August, gave it everything I've got, push hard, fall down, stand up and push again, I refuse to stop. Keep is a lifestyle at this point. It's the choice to be a part of something bigger than yourself and share the happienss.

Throwing it back to September 2014- When I took a chance and changed my dreams to something crazy... SUCCESS!

Your journey can start today... sit back and no nothing or MAKE TODAY the first day of something AMAZING!

Motivation Monday- Quitting

There are many places we go looking for inspiration. Usually the wrong places. Some days we search high and low for some form of passion or fire. We look at other people that are successful and try to navigate their path to success. Sometimes the very thing we need is just to realign ourselves with our mission and re-establish our goals. Do it now. What is the goal?

For me success comes from my unwavering drive not the fail at creating a better life for myself and my family. To challenge myself and find happiness. Even on the rough days, when I can't make a connection or I get rejected by a few people, it would be so easy to quit. I refuse to let that be my legacy. Quitting is the easy route. If it were easy there would be many more people doing what you hope to someday achieve. Then what is the achievement in it? We look at people who are successful and assume they got lucky that it was some stroke of genius that got all these trailblazers where they are.

Do you know what most successful people have in common? At some point, people, dozens of people told them NO. They were rejected on more occasions then they can count. Their plans failed, changed, and failed again but they never stopped. The success you want and that dream you chase is just that, a chase. Usually a long, hard, roller coaster of a chase and worth every second. After all that's the point. Fight for it and NEVER give up. Here are some of my favorite success stories!

Oprah was fired from her first t.v position....
Walt Disney was fired from his first newspaper position for "lack of imagination"....
Fred Astaire was told on a screen test "can't sing, can't act, can dance a little"...
JK Rowling was turned down 12 times for Harry Potter...
The creator of Dyson made 5,126 failed prototypes. He is now worth 4.5 billion dollars...
Elvis was told to "go back to Memphis and drive a truck"...
Marilyn Monroe was told she'd never make it and to "just be a secretary"...

It will get hard, that I can promise you. Success is only hindered by your own limitations. If you want it, you are going to have to fight for it. if you don't there are plenty of other people that will.
Dreams are what get you started.
Determination will make you successful.
xoxo- Lauren

It's more than jewelry, its the opportunity to have choices.

Traffic and fog didn't stop our local Lock Stars from coming together in Ellicott City for an amazing Meet Keep training event. It was great to see the growth of keep through the turn out of local designers in attendance. This isn't even the whole LockStars team locally, let alone countrywide. Back in October just over 6 months ago there were only 5 of us attending and getting things going for Keep in Maryland. Last night there were over 47 ladies registered ( though the horrible traffic had an impact on people making it to the event.)

We discussed training and how to start your Keep business on the right foot, with fire and goals. The best part of the event was just seeing these ladies faces, hearing their voice and knowing that this business is changing lives. It's so much more than jewelry and goes so much deeper than just a direct sales company. For many Keep is a passion and love for life. It's a lifestyle and energy. Keep affords you the spirit to make your own choices; how much you want to work? how much you want to make? if you want to buy that handbag for yourself or take a vacation?

It gives you the means to create a life you love and the passion to love the life you have made for yourself. The jewelry is just an amazing added bonus! Especially all the free jewelry you earn for yourself.. who doesn't love FREE! We can't wait to get together again! Our next meeting is April 8th in Gambrills, Md and if you haven't joined yet, we'd LOVE to meet you! _ Lauren

Words to live by Wednesday

#wordstolivebywednesday

I agree with this 100%! You have to want it more than anyone else could want it for you. Make a plan and go after it. No one is going to hand you Senior Designer and $2,000 a month. Step outside of your comfort zone, take risks, try new things. Success is right there, you have to reach for it though!
