1. TIP #1- FOLLOW UP BOOK-Get a notebook.. a bright fun one and on each page write the name of someone you have spoken to about hostessing or joining. Each time you speak with them write down a bit of the conversation and date. This is your RUNNING list of potentials but also a good system to learn about your approach. Remember its not about selling a job its about sharing this opportunity. If you aren't excited, don't expect them to be. This is an amazing chance for them to be a part of something so amazing, let them hear about your story and learn about them as well. When they host or join, write a big smiley or "Keep Sister" note on the top of the page. You will always have a list of people to go back and check in with
2. TIP #2- OPPORTUNITY PACKS- Take a few of our gift bags and fill them with a candy, 5 business cards and a small note. Put dates on a piece of tape or tag on the bags for booking social.. the note inside can says things like- "1 accent charm from me- thanks for hosting" "FREE Pave Birthstone bar" "You're Lucky- Your choice horseshoe or wishbone" They pick the date to book and take the bag. The business cards are for her to write the date and time on and hand out!
3.Tip #3 - KEEP your SOCIAL SIMPLE>.. No-one wants to be in a room full a ladies that they haven't seen in months then have to listen to a long speech. Socials are meant to be social. You want them talking, sharing, laughing and enjoying some quality "girl time". I rarely bring photos, I don't do a lot of fancy stuff, when I walk in the door I want my set up to be easy, manageable and effortless. I want those ladies to already be there and see me pull my boxes out and think to themselves (I could do that). Once I'm set up and everyone has a drink and a chance to say their hellos, I grab their attention like this....

I wear my keepers everywhere, I have a pop pink which reverses to a gorgeous cream color and I have the LOVE disc, Mom, my lucky elephant, the number 3 for my kids and a strength stone because I have 3 kids. I also have a Star keeper for my team, they are the most amazing group a women and this company has just started and we are already so successful so I like to keep that reminder on me to always chase my dreams. All orders ship direct so you ladies will have your creation perfectly packaged very soon. We have a flat rate shipping which is awesome and super fast which is 5.95 whether you get 6 things or 60. SHORT & SWEET, you are talking, but giving the general information. This should take no more than 3-4 minutes.
4. Tip #4... Never assume that a social will be awful or full of no-shows. You always head in to a social or meeting with someone, thinking... "I can't wait to share this with them." If you genuinely love KEEP it will show. Socials with 3 attending guests can be JUST as successful as a group of 10. If you just assume failure, your sparkle will not be as bright and that's not fair to yourself or your host for that matter. Every opportunity that a person gives you to talk about KEEP and what it means to you is a blessing and should be viewed and treated as such. Even 1 guest at a social could know a NETWORK of people that she could turn around and RAVE about how much fun she had speaking with you. That recruit you met for coffee might not of been the POWERHOUSE personality or may not be tech savvy but they may be great at other things. To truly be a leader we need to have an array of personalities to really offer the community and team some variation. If we were all the same age or had the exact same style this particular business wouldn't be very interesting. So my tip is- to treat your business like a business . If given the opportunity to share it, even with 1 person for that hour you make it your priority to make sure they are a happier person for having spoken to you.
5. Share the opportunity. Get in front of people. You are on a daily hunt for someone to see your business, love it and want to join the adventure. At socials you have a window of time to have ladies in the excitement, having fun and prepared to hear you tell them about the business. SEIZE the day. Make it a mission to always share the happy with at least 2 people at the event. Who is really loving KEEP? Who is helping other women design? Who wants it all? Compliment her and tell her what you love about the company and what it has done for you so far. Then offer her a follow call or even a coffee chat later that week. Some people are just waiting for you to tell them how to join you. They love it, want to do what you do! Who wouldn't right? KEEP IS AWESOME!
6. If you want success you have to plan for it. One of the most important things to do if you want to be successful in this business or any other business is to DEFINE it. Success isn't about a paycheck. There is much more than that. Success is whatever makes you happy and accomplishes whatever it is that you want from it. $1,000 a month extra income, a vacation to Disney for the family, to be more outgoing and have more stay at home mom friends. Keep challenges you in the best way possible and it's important to first commit to and set your goals. Write them down, call 3 people the day you sign up and tell them what your goals are. It holds you accountable for them and makes them real. Success can come in so many forms and having goals and a plan are just the beginning. The next thing is putting the plan into action and ACTUALLY working the plan. You have a whole team of amazing women here to motivate and support you. You have mentors who have been there and are ready to help you test new waters. Now is the time to get that list out and GET TO WORK!
