Social Stew and how I make the most out of my socials.

Our KEEP socials are such a different experience then most in-home style parties. There is no presentation but there is also no awkward "shopping." When you are at a KEEP social you are enjoying the company of your friends and family while being creative, commemorative and inspired. Socials are FUN! They are free flowing and relaxed which can really impress even the most stern anti-home party guests.

ENTER my Stew. This is what I came up with, that I do at every social without even thinking about it. This has become so second nature that it took me some time to really break down what exactly I am doing to create my own success for myself and my hostesses. This is what I believe leads me to booking more socials, having people come back to me for future orders and why so many women take a leap of faith to chase their dreams as part of our team.

This sets up the best case scenario for you as a designer to make sure the hostess is prepared and successful and the guests have a good time and truly understand the mission and spirit of KEEP Collective.

Treating your business like a business but finding a balance is important. Showing your brand and genuine love for it and it's products will be a major catalyst to your success. Throwing a party is great and who doesn't want a girls night? One of those guests might be on a tight budget and really LOVE everything she's picked out. Maybe one of the guests is a stay at home mom that wants a confidence booster, some extra cash for bills and a little motivation. You never know.

It's important that you share the very things you LOVE about KEEP with others. If you follow this Stew recipe not once but on every social, make it second nature and habit, over time you will see results. You will have hostesses with HIGH totals, they will earn MORE in Free product and LOVE Keep! They will become ambassadors for your business and refer all their friends to you. Their friends will envy their collection and how fun and easy the socials was. You will book more, inspire more women and a few will join your team and pursue their own dreams of financial freedom, friendship and job flexibility. All because it was easy to duplicate, not hard to get started, they had fun and like you! These 9 key ingredients will come FULL Circle.. creating more opportunities to share this social experience with others.

The right recipe can make or break the final product. Think about a good cake. With the right mix it's amazing, the best you've ever had. But if you start adding unnecessary ingredients, it gets messy and tastes bad. If you don't set the cupcakes up in papers, they are puddled messes.
Make sure what you are cooking with is what's best for your business. Are you adding everything in you can to make it better? Are you adding things that aren't necessary or don't show your business in the best light? Get to cooking... there is a lot of opportunity out there, make sure you take advantage of it, or someone else will.

Words to Live by Wednesday... "don't look down"

It's easy to get overwhelmed in life, add to that the hustle of small business and you could really mix up a disastrous cocktail. There is a reason that in every movie and show with someone scaling a tall building  to infinite heights someone always says "don't look down." Never be distracted by your surroundings when you are taking your goals and ambitions head on. The fear of failure is great enough to sometimes halt our steps, but what's worse is when that fear creates our failure.

You can't be afraid to climb.

There will be challenges, it won't always be easy, but the best things in life are hard. They test us, sometimes to the point where giving up is too easy of an option. This is where you will separate the strong from the standard. The standard being those of us who never fully embrace the challenge. They begin a journey with the concept that things will always be within grasp, that next limb will come to them and that everyone else climbing has special advantages. Making excuses and saying "why are they doing better than me?" isn't going to do you any favors, I can promise. What will help is "why am I not doing? what can I do better?"

Stop looking down and checking on small things that are entangling you or weighing you down. Stop looking for shortcuts to the finish line. What fun is a race if you get carried and dropped off at the finish line? There is no strength, lesson or endurance there. When you are looking for success it's in the same place its always been, the top.

Some of us work our business more ofter the others. We work our sales full time; without restriction or reservation. To break it into another pitiful climbing analogy, some of us are faster climbers. We can reach a little further, we risk the occasional leap to limbs just beyond reach.  We constantly check how far we are from the top,  our path to get there, which branch is next and the one after that and after that. We ask ourselves how long it will take to get to the middle branch and what we can do to safely get there with all of our gear still in tow. We help guide others around us that aim to reach for the same branches we are grabbing for. These are leaders, ready to climb to new heights, bring along anyone willing to climb with them but not fearful of how high they have gone. Don't look down, look forward. Remember where you have come from, when you started at the lowest level of the hill and use what you learn climbing on your own and what you learn from those who have gone before you to achieve your goals. Success is there for everyone, if you have a courage to go after it.

I want to share this with you because honestly what this symbolizes is VERY important to me. When I left my own brand over 5 years to join keep my major motivation was that FINALLY I would have a platform to use my coaching and business skills to help other women do what I have done for years on my own. I could be a mentor, inspiration, coach and leader.

I have personally recruited over 40 Keepers to our growing team and to have 39 be qualified and pursuing your business means more than anyone will every know. It solidifies that I made the right choice and it hopefully means that everything I put into leading this team is progressive and constructive. I have spoken and met some of you but if you have ever heard one of my recordings, a call with the home office or spoken to me directly, you know I am passionate about this brand and about leading all of you to unimaginable heights.

 THIS IS A HUGE chance for you to change EVERYTHING! I knew it the day they called and accepted me in August that I would fight with everything I had to make this my game changer. It's hard, I know I say that and some of you think I am some kind of sales unicorn that just has everything work out for me but it doesn't. I make things work. I assumed my role as a leader from day 1, I knew to be a leader and have expectations I must surpass my own. Push harder than I would ever ask any of you to push. Challenge myself and grow daily. Not only do I juggle 3 kids, home life, my own socials and sales but I lead all of you amazing, wonderful women. Almost 200 of you! That's exciting stuff, sometimes it scares the crap out of me. That's a lot of eyes watching my every move and that alone can be daunting for sure.

I've been in sales for 10 yrs and I'm still learning. I learn every minute of everyday because I allow myself to. You can't be afraid to fail or you won't ever take the leaps and steps you need to succeed, you will inherently become your own self fulfilling prophecy.  You also can't be intimidated by success. The funny thing is that if you never try, in your mind you can't let yourself down, you can't fail yourself. If you are successful you have a lot to lose and it's definitely scary, but that's the dream. To succeed, proving not only to the world, your peers, friends and family, but yourself that you can push past snags, rejection and uncomfortable situations and still persevere.  I hit speed bumps every week, every month. Speed bumps that I don't assume or allow to become road blocks. I have socials cancel, people back out of sales but what keeps me focused is my goal sheet and my WHY KEEP, WHY NOW? (to change my life for my family, take my kids to Disney, spend more time with my husband and help other women do the same for themselves- live happier more rewarding lives.)

 I know I have to do this not only for my family, but for myself. To prove that someone can come from unconventional backgrounds and succeed purely on heart and determination. I don't have a degree in sales, I am a 28 yr old stay at home mom. I don't have super powers, I just refuse to give up or have someone say that I can't or won't be able to achieve something I dream about. When I joined in September I set my eye on STAR designer and a team of 30 in my first year. I laugh now because we were a team of 30 in our first 2 months and Star by 4 months. That didn't "just happen". I made that a reality. I worked really hard for it. I know the power this sales model, brand and opportunity hold and I share that with everyone. I know how blessed I've been to have this chance so I give that chance to anyone who will listen.

 I believe each and every one of you has the potential and the power to climb to the top even if some of you don't see it yet. I can't make you see it. I can guide you, train you and give you all the motivation in the world but your heart has to want it. You have to want it more than just saying "we will see what happens." MAKE IT HAPPEN! Just like my heart wants my own success for my own reasons and NOTHING will detour that. You need to take everything you can from this, believe in it and then you have to have to apply it.

I am so incredibly proud of this team! You are my driving force to go all the way and lead you all into crazy realms of success, income and adventure! Thank you all for leading me and showing me that dreams come true and that the sky's the limit if you are brave enough to get on the rocket ship!
