This is 100% true.
The road to success isn't a straight shot. Yes the product sells itself, people LOVE our products but there is a bigger power at force that is responsible for seeing that those products are seen- YOU!
People assume that I got lucky, that for some reason this is easier for me. That my area just "buys things" more than their area. Those are excuses, and like noses, eyes and ears, we all have them. You can't mark your own shortcomings with excuses on why it's not working and except that excuse to somehow make it's impression on your goal and turn things around.
I'll tell you why I'm successful... because my goal is to be. I work hard.. I set goals, I work a plan and I stick to it until the end. I don't let "no's" get me down, I don't let the success of others upset me.. I stay the course. What motivates me is my family and I know this opportunity can change our lives. It has already changed my life forever and it's not even been a year. You have to find your motivation, without it you have no drive, no perch to lean on when things get tough or pushed to the side. And they will. Life happens, we get caught up with things, our kids are sick, we go on a much needed vacation and it's hard to pick back up. That's where motivators come in. For me, I want to pay things off for my husband and I want to take my kids to Disney! These are my dreams, the things that even on the worst weeks, help me to not lose faith. Last week my daughter was home from school sick and I was plagued with migraines, so I dropped the work load a little, but that's no excuse not to roll in this week with intention. You have to be able to climb back up. Set goals, make a plan and work it. It will be the ultimate deciding factor in your success or failure. And who's to say you failed? You win some and you learn some. Everything you do is an opportunity and experience.
My challenge to you is to find your motivation, set your goals for now until the end of the month, make a plan of attack and reach out to someone in your business for help, wisdom or just support. I can assure you, you are far more capable then you could even imagine, if you would just stop holding yourself back. YOU CAN DO IT! - Lauren
